Retreat Highlights:

Meet & Greet: Kick off the retreat with a warm welcome and meet your fellow participants. Enjoy light refreshments and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
Make & Take Projects led by expert instructors. Each day offers new techniques and projects to enhance your wreath-making skills.
All Materials Provided: No need to bring anything! All materials, including wreath bases, decorative elements, and tools, will be provided.
Meals Provided:Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner provided on Friday & Saturday
Social Hour: A Crafting After Dark Costume Theme Party will be held on Friday evening with craft challenges, games and prizes (you don't have to dress up but we hope you will).
Swag Bags: Each guest will get a swag bag filled with amazing products donated by small business owners in our crafting community.
Door Prizes: Each guest will have the opportunity to win some fabulous door prizes that have been donated by some of our small business friends in the craft community.
Vendor Shopping: You will have the opportunity to shop with our small business vendors selling things like signs, ribbon, attachments and so much more.
Q&A Sessions: Enjoy informal Q&A sessions with our instructors, where you can ask questions, seek advice, and gain insights into the art of wreath-making.

Cost includes all workshops, materials, refreshments, and special events
Multiple Payment Plans available, some for a limited time
Ticket Price DOES NOT include hotel room, transportation or travel accommodations. (Hotel offers a FREE SHUTTLE service to and from the airport)

Susan Skelton - AC Inspired Wreaths

I began wreath making after the death of my son in 2018 as a form of therapy to help me through my grief. My motto is "Laugh and Live with a half full cup, when it's all black clouds find the sun" My business is named in his honor.

Over the years I have developed my wreath making skills and style by challenging myself to think outside the box. Some of the best designs I have created have been the ones where I have no plan, I just create! I love trying new things to test my creativity and teaching others to do the same and have fun doing it.

I have been a coach in a private design group for over 4 years as well as a coach in our own private design group with Dawn and have loved teaching and inspiring other designers. It's a wonderful feeling as a coach to see other designers take what you've taught them and turn it into their own beautiful design.

I want to do the same for you with our retreat and I hope you’ll join us!

We are beyond excited to announce Carolynne from Nonnas Nutty Krafts as our special guest designer this year. Carolynne will be teaching our guests to make their own wreath attachment. They will then use their attachment in a wreath project taught by Susan at this years retreat!

Carolynne is not only a talented attachment and wreath maker, she is also one of our biggest Vendors and will be showcasing her beautiful wreath attachments with us again at this years event!

Dawn Sanches - Wreath Decor by Dawn

I have been a crafter most of my life. It started with sewing in high school and over the years I have tried nearly every craft that has come along.

After creating grapevine wreaths for years, one day, while scrolling online, I stumbled on a video of someone making mesh wreaths and the bug bit me! I started my wreath and home decor business in 2017 and have grown and developed my skills through watching other wreath makers, joining online groups and attending retreats and floral shows and a lot of practice to hone my skills and create a style of my own.

I enjoy creating online tutorials on both Facebook and YouTube and I love teaching and inspiring others to create!

Having been asked on serval occasions if I do classes, coaching with Susan in our own private design group and having a retreat seemed like the perfect opportunity to share my skills with others and I hope I can inspire you and you’ll come join us a one of our retreats!

"Reflecting on this weekend made me smile

As I stated, this was my first retreat so I didn't know what I signed up for or if I was going to be uncomfortable because I didn't know anybody. However, I walked into a hallway full of beautiful goodies and people with sweet smiles and full of laughter.

When I signed in, Dawn greeted me, hugged me and said she was excited to meet me. I entered into a beautifully decorated ballroom full of excited wreath makers. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. When Susan came over to speak, I went to shake her hand, and she said no, we are hugging..lol

We began our night with introductions and Dawn shocked me. I did not know she knew I was on television. For her to mention that, warmed my heart.

At first, I did feel out of place because everyone knew each other, have been to retreats together, watch each other's lives, etc. But as the hours went by, everyone made me feel as if they've known me for years."
